Black raw silk gives Mehtab its sweep in a full-flare pishwas. A round neckline rimmed with tiny beads drops to a slim bead-set placket. Long sleeves balance the sweep of the skirt.

Antique-gold tilla vines climb the bodice with small floral butis across the base. Starburst blossoms in fuchsia and teal mark the vines, while the sleeves carry matching work with dense, banded cuffs. A richly worked hem runs in magenta and teal with bead and sequin sparkle.

Turned around, the back reveals a distinctive yoke: a scalloped trellis studded with tiny florets and paisley medallions in aqua and ivory, set off against the lighter, buti-sprinkled flare below. A contrast magenta medium silk dupatta lifts the black base with a celebratory note.

Mehtab comes alive after dark - made for sangeet or reception, where the color lifts and the jaali back catches every turn.
