Deep maroon tissue silk commands attention without asking. Shafaq - named for the warm glow of sunset - brings that same soft richness, that same certainty of presence.

The frock opens into an anarkali silhouette, fitted through the bodice and releasing into full flare. A wide scoop neckline sits framed by ornate scalloped edging in champagne gold tilla, studded with beads and sequins that create a jeweled collar effect. From the neckline, a central diamond medallion takes center stage: concentric rings of scrolling vines, blooming florals, and leafy sprays worked densely in antique-gold tilla. It's ornate but grounded, the kind of embroidery that holds the eye. A vertical row of pearl-like beads runs down the center front, keeping the line clean and cohesive.

Long sleeves carry their own statement - large paisley and floral clusters rise along the forearm in champagne tilla and sequins, anchored by embroidered cuffs. The cuffs are layered bands of dense tilla work, beads, and sequins finished with scalloped edging topped with white triangular lace trim - substantial enough to balance the neckline's opulence.

The back neckline mirrors the front - same deep scoop, same scalloped edge - with a delicate tie detail for a soft finish. The hem falls plain, allowing the flare to move freely and the embroidery above to remain the focus.

Straight trousers in matching maroon fall cleanly, their simplicity balancing the volume of the frock. The organza dupatta is block-printed with a geometric lattice motif in gold, bordered with champagne tilla trim that echoes the frock's embroidery, adding texture and traditional craft to the set without adding weight.
